Market Uncertainty
Weโre in a time with supposedly a lot of uncertainty in the market. We have a pending Presidential election. We have pending rate cuts. We have very important economic data coming out.
Letโs look at some data to tell us what investors are thinking about the market right now. What you see below is the S&P 500 in blue overlaid with a โbearโ rating.
They poll fund managers and institutions on whether they are feeling bullish or bearish on the market and the red line gives you the score of how many said they are feeling bearish.
We had a ton of economic data last week that made investors unsure about where we stand in the market.
This data tells you that as a result of everything that transpired last week, we have fewer bears than last week. On top of that, we are at a very low reading for bearish sentiment.
This bodes well for the market and is an interesting tidbit I wanted to share with everyone.
