This will give us a read on how inflation has fared year-over-year and month-over-month.

Numbers to Watch

Here are the numbers that you need to be aware of:

• Core CPI projection: 0.3%

• Core CPI previous month: 0.3%

Essentially what we are looking for is a number under 0.3%. Anything below this will be good for the markets and anything above will cause the markets to sell off.

This will impact the probability of the Fed cutting rates as well.
