This week is an interesting one because the market is closed on Friday. At the same time, we have PCE and Powell speaking on Friday.

This means that traders will not be able to trade these events and will need to be positioned accordingly for the long weekend.

Because of this, we are seeing low volume in the market this week.

Impact of Low Volume

I would be cautious trading this week because on low volume you can see wild moves in the market. Take for example how we sold off pretty significantly at the end of the day.

When there is a lack of volume in the market, moves like these can happen much more easily.

Stocks to Target

Over long weekends, we often see traders move over to Bitcoin names because you can trade it all weekend.

I am looking at Bitcoin names to trade over the long weekend. Stocks I am looking at include MSTR COIN CLSK IBIT BITI.
