Here's where I think we're headed this week.

Index Issues

To start, the indexes look nasty right now.

You can see from the image below that we have a pretty clear head & shoulders that developed and we are breaking the neckline. This can get a lot worse before it gets better.

Semiconductors are getting crushed as well. From its peak, the SOXX is now down 25%. This is past a correction at this point.

We have a fundamental shift in the market going on with England cutting, Canada cutting, the EU cutting, and the US doing nothing.

We could be seeing a long-term shift in the market based upon the macroeconomic environment with rate cuts.

Just because we have gaps in our indexes doesn’t mean that they will be filled.

I would be very cautious going into this week and play the hand you are dealt.
