3Q Ending Key Level Break
The Nasdaq did something yesterday that we have been watching and waiting on for over a week.
We broke through the high of September 30th, which is the final day of the third quarter, when institutions sold the market off to end the quarter.
You can see that this level has been resistance and we had tested it multiple times, and we finally broke it yesterday.
Institutional Perspective
If you think about what this means from an institutional perspective, the entire time that the Nasdaq is below the peak from September 30th, they are ahead. They sold at a higher price than the current price of the market.
Now, things change. They are missing out on gains since they sold. This puts them behind the eight ball and requires them to pay up to get reinvested if they donโt want to miss the move to come.
I expect this to happen and for funds to start re-entering the market, pushing the Nasdaq higher. This is exactly what we want to see.
