I wanted to make sure everyone was aware of what is to come next week because we have some important earnings and economic data to be aware of before you finish trading this week.

Let’s dive into it.

Earnings Next Week

Here are the key earnings to take note of for next week:

• Monday: CLF NUE NXPI

• Tuesday: TSLA GOOG ENPH SPOT TXN

• Wednesday: CMG F NOW IBM NEM

• Thursday: AAL ABBV DXCM

Most notable is obviously Tuesday which features earnings from TSLA and GOOG. Ensure you manage your position sizes accordingly prior to earnings because both can see major swings.

Economic Data

From an economic data perspective, we have a few important reports coming out.

On Thursday, we have Durable Goods Orders coming out along with the GDP Growth Rate at 8:30 AM.

GDP especially will move the market. Previous GDP numbers have been very low so we will see if that trend continues or not.

On Friday, we have PCE data being released at 8:30 AM. Powell has stated that he looks at this data even more closely that CPI and PPI.

Therefore this data will have a strong impact on the market in one direction or the other, so ensure you are prepared for its release.
