REITs Lead the Way

I have been pounding the table on this sector for weeks now - maybe months at this point - but once again it is important to keep an eye on what REITs are doing.

This sector benefits greatly from rate cuts and has seen constant buying since it became clear that rate cuts were coming.

Here are a few highlights:

First you can see that the sector has been continually grinding higher and is now breaking out to all-time highs.

VNO has been a leader in this space. Just because we are at all-time highs does not mean that you have missed the move. I see this as something that can continue long-term.

If you are looking for a name that hasn’t broken out yet, SLG looks like it will be next. I am watching this name closely.
