For the last month or two we have been in an earnings-driven market.

One trading strategy that I have been using is executing a simple trade after hours that has been working for me and members of the Alpha Chasers community.

8PM-7AM Strategy

This strategy works for stocks that have run up after hours (typically on earnings) and are closing at 8PM at the high of the after hours session.

Typically when this happens, the following morning Asian markets will see the positive reaction to earnings and continue pushing the stock higher in pre-market trading.

Therefore you can buy stock just before the after hours close at 8PM and sell before market opens at 7AM for a relatively low risk opportunity to profit.

Above is an example of this strategy that I used on NVDA a few weeks ago. You can see I purchased at 8PM and sold just after 7AM for an easy 6 or 7 points.
